LMFAO, the duo behind “Party Rock Anthem,” have announced plans to go on hiatus to pursue solo careers.

Stefan Kendall Gordy, better known as Redfoo, said, “I feel like we’ve been doing this for so long, five or six years. And we’re kind of like saying, well, let’s just do what’s natural and just kind of explore that, instead of like forcing it all the time.”

Gordy, 37, isn’t limiting his pursuits to music. An avid tennis fan, Gordy was recently seen at the championship match at the Women’s U.S. Open between Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka. He told The AP he has also been working as a coach for junior tennis player Ayaka Okuno in Las Vegas recently.

In addition to his coaching duties, Gordy will also reveal a line of tennis clothing. Whether or not it resembles the extravagant onstage outfits that LMFAO have become known for remains to be seen.

Gordy has also been performing on the current Olympic U.S. gymnastics tour, and is working on a song for the NFL team New England Patriots.

As far as new music goes, Gordy added that any new material won’t be a huge departure from LMFAO’s winning musical combination.
