Bad news for Denmark’s Take That fans. Robbie Williams has posted pictures from his sick bed after a severe bout of food poisoning forced the ‘manband’ to cancel the second of two appearances in Copenhagen, Denmark.

According to British tabloid The Sun, Robbie, who rejoined the band in 2010, was struck down with the illness after ordering “a grilled Danish black lobster with lobster salad and saffron aioli” from a hotel the group were staying at during their Progress tour.

The band released a statement in which their regret was evident: “We are truly devastated to have had to cancel tonight’s show in Denmark. This is the first show that we have ever had to cancel in our career as a band. It was a horrible decision to make and one we agonised over.”

Posting a picture of his recovery on his official blog, the 37-year-old ‘Angels’ singer issued a personal statement of gratitude and apology. “Thank you for all your messages and love. I’m not completely out of the wood yet but feeling much better. Gutted for everyone involved with the tour…Feeling dreadful for letting the fans down. I’m so, so sorry.”

Luckily Robbie recovered in time to resume the Progress tour in Amsterdam, Holland.
