It’s official, rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West have decided to combine their musical talent, but just what is the duo calling themselves? Ladies and gentleman, meet The Throne.

Their LP, titled ‘Watch the Throne,’ and is due for release August 8. It can also be purchased as a compact disc; however, fans will have to wait a few more days as the CD will not be released until August 12.

Jay-Z and Kanye are not the only big names on the album. Frank Ocean, singer for the band Odd Future, and Jay-Z’s wife of three years, Beyoncé Knowles, will also lend their voices to the album. This is not the first time the group has worked together. Jay-Z, West and Ocean also collaborated on Beyoncé’s album ‘4,’ which was released last month.

The eighth of August is a big day for the duo, as it is not only their LP premiere, but tickets for their tour also go on sale. The tour, appropriately, shares its name with the album. The Throne will play 24 shows in less than two months. The tour is set to kick off September 22 in Detroit.
