The self-titled “Mother Monster” has been a little creative in her downtime. With a massive online following on Twitter, Lady Gaga has officially launched her social networking site Littlemonsters.com.
In her first move with the site, Gaga announced plans to release her third studio album sometime early next year.
Nearly a month ago, Gaga took to Twitter to reveal she would release the name of her new album by September. The album’s lead single is slated for release soon after.
Born This Way, Gaga’s second album, debuted in May of last year, selling over 1.1 million copies in the U.S. in its first week, including one of the largest digital sales of an album ever according to SoundScan. The album went on to sell over 2.1 million copies – the third best sales in the U.S. for 2012.
Considering her now iconic status and rabid following, expect the next album to do much of the same.
