Sassy pop sensation Katy Perry has outdone herself and her fellow divas by topping the Billboard 100 charts for a fifth time with her latest single, “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)“. Perry is the first female artist to have five singles from of the same album, “Teenage Dream,” reach the No. 1 spot; and the second artist to do so next to Michael Jackson’s 1987 album, “Bad.”

The five singles that have topped the Billboard 100 charts are: California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Firework, E.T., and Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F). While it has taken Perry a year to complete this feat, it doesn’t look like she’ll be slowing down any time soon. Perhaps Perry will surpass Jackson with her song, “Peacock,” which could be an instant hit with clubbers.

Guess we will just have to wait and see if Ms. Perry will continue her reign on the pop world!
