UK breakthrough artist Katy B has started work on her second album, according to reports.

The ‘Easy Please Me’ singer – real name Kathleen Brien- is said to have started putting together ideas for the follow-up to her debut album ‘On A Mission’, however she’s finding it difficult staying focused due to her busy schedule.

The 22-year-old just completed her first headline tour last month.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Katy B said: “I haven’t had time to write yet. Some people do it on tour, but I always have to be more focused to lay down the ideas.

“I’m starting to make notes and experiment so I can be inspired to know what direction to go in next. It’s exciting because I love so many different types of music, I could go in any direction.”

Katy B’s debut album ‘On a Mission’ peaked at No.2 in the UK Album charts, and was well received by music critics.

Speaking of the success of the album, Katy said: “It started to sink in that people were going to be rating it out of five or ten and, that’s when I started totally freaking out. Fortunately it seemed people liked it in the end.”
