Singer Gavin DeGraw has returned to the stage for the first time since he was attacked in New York City.

DeGraw was attacked by a group of men on the streets of New York City earlier this month. He was left with two black eyes and a broken nose after the attack. He was then hit by a taxi cab, which resulted in a concussion and further bruises.

The singer has now recovered from this injuries -which forced him to cancel several concerts- and has returned to performing. DeGraw was cheered as he hit the stage for the first time in almost a month at the New York State Fair, where he was performing as part of his joint tour with Maroon 5 and Train.

To highlight the event, he played many of his hits, including ‘In Love With a Girl,’ before going on to perform three songs from his unreleased album, entitled ‘Sweeter.’
