Director Jon Kasden’s trailer for ‘The First Time’ is now available.
MTV’s ‘Teenwolf’ star Dylan O’Brien plays the lead role Dave, a high school senior who just can’t win the affection of his friend Jane, played by Victoria Justice.
Before the end of his high school career, Dave is trying to finally ask Jane about his true feelings, but things get caught up when he meets Aubrey (Brittany Robertson) at a party. Both end up together after the party falls through, and the ultimate question of, “Have you ever …” comes up.
It’s the second movie for Kasden as a director, whose previous work includes writing credits for ‘Dawson’s Creek’ and ‘Freaks And Geeks.’ Kasden also acts, including a recent stint on ‘Californication,’ as, surprisingly, a director.
‘The First Time’ premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and was promptly picked up by Samuel Goldwyn Films. A limited theatrical release is slated for October 19.
