Disney’s biannual D23 convention, which took place last weekend, has proved informative with Pixar animations announcing two upcoming features.

The untitled animations – one focusing on Dinosaurs and the other on the inner workings of the human mind – are set for release in November 2013 and May 2014, respectively.

Bob Peterson, acclaimed screenwriter for Pixar’s ‘Up’ and ‘Finding Nemo’ will direct the dinosaur inspired movie. Peterson set excitement brewing when he introduced the films premise which explores an alternate reality whereby “the asteroid missed the Earth and dinosaurs continued to live.”

Pete Docter is set to direct the second Pixar project, a psychoanalytical mind-boggling motion picture. Docter further increased curiosity by stating; “Most of us have had experience of being around someone and thinking what is going on in their head… This film will attempt to answer that question.”

The animations are still in their very early stages, however as more information begins to surface we will keep you informed.
