One of the more exciting films slated to premiere at next month’s Toronto International Film Festival is the Ariel Vroman directed thriller ‘The Iceman.’ Starring Boardwalk Empire star Michael Shannon as notorious New Jersey contract killer Richard ‘The Iceman’ Kuklinski.

Kuklinski is one of the America’s best-known murders, who claimed to have killed over 100 men (men only, as you will find out in the trailer) between 1948-1986. Rumors surrounding Kuklinski, who died in 2006, suggest that he may have killed over 250 men in total.

It’s the second film about the killer in recent years. Around the same time that production began for ‘The Iceman,’ Mickey Rourke was set to play Kuklinski in ‘The Iceman: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer.’ The film is still apparently in development.

Alongside Shannon, Chris Evans – who plays Kuklinski’s accomplice Robert Pronge – also stars, alongside Winona Ryder, Ray Liotta, David Schwimmer, and James Franco.

A little warning before you watch the trailer; there are several NSFW work moments, so be wary.
