Explosions, car chases and beautiful women feature prominently in the international trailer for ‘Skyfall’ – however Bond’s (Daniel Craig) latest enemy has the biggest impact.
With the trailer coming in at just under a minute, it’s clear that much of the storyline remains under lock and key. What we currently know is that a danger threatens MI6, and perhaps more worryingly M’s (Judi Dench) past has comes back to haunt her. 007’s mission is to destroy the impending threat.
The threat comes in the form of Raoul Silva, played by Academy Award winning actor Javier Bardem. Silva is the ultimate enemy and one to be feared – even by Bond. When Bond claims to know ‘all there is’ about fear, Berenice Marlohe‘s character, Severine forebodingly replies, “Not like this. Not like him.”
In true Bond style a montage of fast paced action follows, perfectly synced to the iconic Bond theme.
Directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty), ‘Skyfall’ will also feature Ralph Fiennes as Gareth Malloy and Ben Whishaw as Q.
‘Skyfall’ plummets into UK cinemas October 26 and US cinemas November 9.
