The newest trailer for David O. Russell’s new film ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ has premiered.
The film, which took home the People’s Choice Award at this year’s Toronto Film Festival, stars Bradley Cooper as a former teacher coming home to live with his parents (Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver) after a stint in a mental institution. In his return he meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), who has some problems of her own.
The film takes place in Cooper’s native Philadelphia (hence all the Eagles jerseys) and is based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quick.
The new trailer, at first glance, doesn’t show much difference from the original, which premiered several months ago. However, the new version does show some altered scenes with De Niro speaking about the new friendship that his son and Tiffany have found.
The movie, which also stars Chris Tucker and Julia Stiles, will be released Wednesday, November 21.
