An unseen clip for ‘The  Amazing Spiderman’ has hit the web.

The forty-five second clip reveals little concerning the direction of the movie. Instead it shows Peter Parker, played by ‘Social Network’ star, Andrew Garfield, being confronted by the doorman of his high school sweetheart,  Gwen Stacey (Emma Stone). As Peter tries to enter the apartment building, the doorman demands to see what he has concealed in his backpack.

According to director Marc Webb (‘500 Days of Summer’), the latest film in the Spiderman franchise takes a different approach to the previous trilogy. Speaking recently to Comic-Con Annual Magazine Webb said; “It’s really important for us to be able to communicate that this isn’t a remake of Sam Raimi’s movie. There’s a new territory, there’s a new villain, its a different Peter Parker.”

The forthcoming summer blockbuster will follow a teenage Peter Parker as he deals with his emerging super powers while investigating the mysterious disappearance of his parents.

Staring alongside Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen and Sally Field – a completely different case from the original trilogy.

‘The Amazing Spiderman’ is released worldwide on July 3, 2012.
