The first teaser trailer for ‘The Canyons’ has been released.
The film, which comes from ‘American Psycho’ and ‘The Rules of Attraction’ writer Bret Easton Ellis and director Paul Schrader, is billed as a dark, noir-like story set in modern day Hollywood.
Featured in the project are Lindsay Lohan and famed adult film star James Deen in what will be his first non-pornographic feature.

Deen has been emerging as a popular name in the past year, even as the subject of a popular feature on ABC News back in February. In the feature, Deen discusses his increased popularity in an industry that is usually dominated by his female counterparts.
Unlike many of his male peers, Deen doesn’t exactly look the part of a male porn star, frequently earning him the distinction of the “boy next door,” which contributed to his popularity among teens and young adults.
While no exact release date is currently available, the film is due to be released through Netflix during 2013.
