The first trailer for Brick Mansions, the last movie Paul Walker completed before his untimely demise, has just been released.

The action packed trailer sees the late Fast and Furious star leaping buildings with a single bound, dodging speeding bullets, and channeling his inner Jason Statham for the flick, which directed by Camille Delamarre – Who edited both Taken 2 and Transporter 3.

The film serves as an English-language reboot of District 13 (Banlieue 13), a french action movie set in the ghettos of Paris. Brick Mansions is set in a near-future Detroit where an undercover cop (Walker) has to infiltrate an uninhabitable Detroit ghetto (a little too close to home, if you ask me…) run by a gang-leader and take down a neutron bomb that threatens the city.

Produced by Relativity, the film also features Wu-Tang Clan member RZA as the de-facto leader of Brick Mansions and parkour master David Bell as one of the few people to make it out of Brick Mansions alive.

Paul Walker died on November 30, 2013 when he was in the passenger seat of a car that lost control, hit a utility pole and burst into flames. Walker completed his last scenes for Brick Mansions in July 2013, and this film will serve as his first release since his death. At the time of his death, Walker was also shooting for the seventh Fast and Furious movie, and he is still expected to feature in the film despite only half of his scenes were ever completed.

Brick Mansions is due for release April 25, 2014.
