The first full-length trailer for Zack Snyder‘s ‘Man of Steel’ has been unveiled.

The trailer is not dissimilar to the clips shown at this summer’s Comic Con – However, this time we see more footage of Superman in action, even before he takes on the ol’ Red and Blue.

One clip in the trailer shows a young Clark Kent saving a school bus full of children after it careens into a river; while the voice of a mother says, “My son was on the bus. He saw what Clark did.” This film, which is sure to be one of 2013’s most anticipated, promises to put Superman’s struggles with his humanity, his secret, and the competing influences of both his Human and Kryptonian parents center stage and with a sense of gravitas only Snyder could achieve.

‘Man of Steel’ stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, and Michael Shannon as General Zod.

To be released in both IMAX and 3D, the story will closely follow Superman’s origins and his move to Metropolis where he will face off against seminal ‘bad-guy’ General Zod.

‘Man of Steel’ will hit theaters on June 14, 2013.
