There are many rumors floating around show business circles that “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star Leonardo DiCaprio is currently negotiating a contract to star in a movie about the life of legendary daredevil Evel Knievel. He made a name for himself by performing very dangerous stunts that often resulted in him being seriously injured in the process. His stunts were televised nationally and attracted many millions of viewers. Some of the highest rated episodes of “ABC’s Wide World of Sports” involve Evel Knievel performing dangerous stunts.
This is not the first time that a movie about the life of Evel Knievel has been talked about in Hollywood circles. However, none of them have been made as of yet. The negotiations with DiCaprio are in the very early stages. There is no guarantee that the film will come to fruition. If it ever does get made, Paramount Pictures will be the studio that releases it. Leo has said in several interviews that he thinks Evel Knievel is a fascinating guy. He would like to get into the mind of Knievel. Leo just wants to find interesting roles for himself. He believes that this would fall into that category.
