Keanu Reeves has given away a back end deal entitling him to a percentage of the profits from two of the Matrix sequels.

In 2001, the actor handed his profit sharing deal, valued at upwards of $15 Million, over to members of the special effects and costume design teams who worked on the Matrix franchise.

An anonymous movie executive told the Wall Street Journal: “He felt that they were the ones who made the movie and that they should participate.”
