Though much remains unknown about the upcoming DC Comics TV series Titans, a list of supposed episode titles has been found floating around the internet. If legit, they point to the inclusion of Jason Todd in some form, though alive or dead remains unknown.

According to the fansite Titans TV, the list of rumors episode titles are “Titans,” “Hawk and Dove,” “Starfire,” “Rachel,” “The Messenger” and “Jason Todd.” If they are real, then the show seems to be going for a minimalist approach, as, minus the penultimate example, all of these are just characters’ names.

According to cbr.com, the new series is set to air on a streaming service dedicated to DC Comics adaptations. It will star the titular team of younger heroes and former sidekicks, which are led by Dick Grayson, the first Robin. He will be played by Brenton Thewaites, while other characters include Koriand’r/Starfire (Anna Diop), Rachel Roth/Raven (Teagan Croft), Hank Hall/Hawk (Alan Ritchson) and Dawn Granger/Dove (Minka Kelly), and Garfield Logan/Beast Boy (Ryan Potter).

Jason Todd would be an interesting addition. In the comics, he is the second Robin, who was taken in by Batman after Dick left to become a solo hero. A street kid and petty theft, Jason had a darker and more violent career as a superhero, willing to use extreme measures on criminals whom he found deserving. He was eventually killed by the Joker, but would later return to life due to the intervention of Ra’s al-Ghul, Batman’s foe and occasional ally, who can resurrect people with the use of the Lazarus Pits.

It is worth noting that Thewaites has been seen in costume as Robin; in the comics, Dick Grayson would go on to eventually take the name “Nightwing,” and only then was the mantle available for Jason to become the second Robin. Unless these images are meant to be a flashback to his pre-Titan days, this would presumably nix the idea that Jason had already taken up his old title for himself.

If Jason does appear, however, how will it happen? Will he be alive and Robining with Batman when the series begins, or will he be dead, and his appearances confined to flashbacks and backstory? Or perhaps will it even be after his resurrection? Only time will tell if these titles are real, let alone what they mean.
