The remake of ‘Footloose‘ starring, Julianne Hough, Dennis Quaid and newcomer leading man Kenny Wormald, released new promo posters for its October release.
The new shots show Hough and Wormald giving a preview of their on-screen chemistry as they sneak behind her pastor father’s (Quaid) back and bring dancing back to small-town Bomont.
The other shots show Hough showing her free-spirit personality as she leans out of a car window and Wormald, from Chicago, looking suave in dark sunglasses, blue jeans and a t-shirt as he makes his way towards a new life in Bomont.
Director Craig Brewer has enlisted very talented dancers in his main roles, with Wormald’s performance sparking rumors of a possible ‘Dirty Dancing’ remake with him as the lead. Even though the main story line is the same as the 1984 original, the film’s previews have shown that modern day adjustments have been made for the new audience.
