From Lana and Andy Wachowski and Run Lola Run director Tom Tykwer comes one of the most-anticipated upcoming movie releases, Cloud Atlas. Based on the best-selling novel from author David Mitchell, the immense story focuses on the seemingly indifferent interactions between people from the past and present, and how it shapes and cultivates their every day lives.

Tom Hanks and Halle Berry are the main stars in the film, but the remaining cast is filled with A-listers, including: Hugo Weaving, Hugh Grant, Susan Sarandon, Jim Sturgess, James D’Arcy, and Jim Broadbent, among many others.

The near six minute trailer, which you can watch below, is so laborious and deep that it seems like you’re watching a trailer for four or five different films. The movie will officially premiere at September’s Toronto International Film Festival, following up with a quick October 26 release in the U.S. The film will be released internationally shortly there-after, just in time for Oscar season.
