Disney has confirmed the release date for the newest entrant in the Marvel film universe.

The story follows the adventures of scientist Henry Pym, who discovers a way to manipulate his own size.

Plans for an ‘Ant-Man’ movie made waves last summer during San Diego’s Comic-Con. It’s the next entrant in a lengthy list of new and ongoing projects in the Marvel movie universe.

The film is set for a November 6, 2015 release; after ‘Iron Man 3,’ set for May of next year, ‘Thor: The Dark World’ in November 2013, and ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ and ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ in 2014.

Disney and Marvel also plan to release the second ‘Avengers’ film in summer 2015.

Director Edgar Wright was linked to the project earlier this year, enlisting the help of emerging screenplay writer Joe Cornish. Cornish’s previous work includes screenplays for ‘The Adventures of Tintin’ and ‘Attack The Block.’

Wright is currently working with long-time film partners Simon Pegg and Nick Frost on their newest film ‘The World’s End,’ which is set for release October 25, 2013.
