Since the Kardashians became famous for being famous, the drama hasn’t stopped for one iota. Sisters Kourtney, Kim, Chloe, Kylie, and Kendall, have had their fill of dating and marriage woes. This time it’s Kendall and now ex-boyfriend NBA Star Devon Booker. On June 22, Kendall and Devon announced their breakup, according to a report from Entertainment Tonight.

Who are Kendall Jenner and Devon Booker

As we know, Kendall Jenner and her sister Kylie are the daughters of famed Olympian Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner, the momager of the Kardashian clan. The two sisters were the youngest of the siblings when the reality show, The Kardashians, first aired in October 2007. As we watched, Kendall grew from an awkward teenager into a social media powerhouse and internationally known model.

NBA Star Devon Booker, born October 30, 1996, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is on the roster as a shooting guard for the Phoenix Suns. According to Booker’s Wikipedia entry, after only one year playing for the Kentucky Wildcats, Booker got picked up as a first-round pick by the Suns during the NBA draft in 2015. Booker had little more meager beginnings as the son of Veronica Gutiérrez, a career cosmetologist, and Melvin Booker, a point guard at Missouri, named 1994 Big Eight Player of the Year.

When did the romance start?

The pair entered coupledom, at least in the public eye, approximately two years ago when first spotted together on a cozy Arizona excursion in April 2020. In June of that same year, they confirmed rumors they were together and very much in love. Since then, even though they tried to keep their relationship private, photos and videos have cropped up on social media and entertainment news. The latest spotting was at sister Chloe’s wedding in Italy.

Why did the relationship fizzle?

It’s not hard to see with Kendall’s modeling career and Devon’s NBA contract; the two are worlds apart at times, geographically speaking. However, it was more than their careers that ended their relationship. Kendall feels like they’re on different life paths, and while the two loved each other, they were just not on the same page. Booker concluded that it was challenging to be in the constant glare of the spotlight, both in his private life and his NBA career.
