Countries aren’t the only thing the royals are reigning over– each year ‘Vanity Fair’ comes out with a best-dressed list, and this year it has been dominated by royalty.

Considering all of the the royal weddings in 2011, the most famous of which Prince William married Kate Middleton, it should come as no surprise that the royals have been in the spotlight. Now ‘Vanity Fair’ has featured royals from various countries as fashion examples to follow.

The Duchess of Cambridge, formerly known as Kate Middleton, made the list along with Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, the First Lady of France. Carla was also on last year’s list. Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser of Qatar and Princess Charlene of Monaco were included as well.

Not to leave out American leaders, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle were mentioned in the “couples” category. Michelle Obama topped the list in 2010.

Obama wasn’t the only male on who made the cut. Finance gurus Arpad Busson and Alejandro Santo Domingo were on the list alongside the chairman of Mittel Capital, Mario D’Urso.

To see who else made the cut you can check out the August issue of ‘Vanity Fair,’ which will be released nationwide August 9.
