Hollywood actress and former socialite Lindsay Lohan is due to make a return to the US Courtroom, however this time she will appear as plaintiff.

The Actress has filed a lawsuit against hip-hop artist Pitbull who makes reference to her and her past legal troubles in his hit song, ‘Give me Everything’.

The song, which was released in March, includes the lyrics: “Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’ I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.”

Despite a five-month lag in time, the song has offended the Hollywood actress who claims in the suit that it disparages her reputation as “a professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild.”

Lohan will be suing under the New York Civil Rights law, which protects individuals from having their name exploited primarily for commercial purposes.

The reasoning cited in official court papers argues, “the lyrics, by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff.”

A statement has not yet been released by Pitbull or his attorneys.
