The controversial singer, whose hit single ‘Born This Way’ won Best Female Video and Best Video With A Message at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, arrived at the award ceremony as her male alter ego Jo Calderone, who first appeared in the music video for single ‘You and I’.
Gaga maintained the Calderone character throughout the VMAs, and even came close to kissing Britney Spears before Spears turned away saying “I’ve done that already,” referring to the infamous Britney/Madonna kiss at the 2003 VMAs.
It has now been revealed that the singer, real name Stephanie Germanotta, was wearing a prosthetic penis inside her men’s Armani underwear, an insider confirmed to Us Weekly.
The singer frequently grabbed her crotch during the show, and certain paparazzi photos clearly show ‘something’ in Jo Calderone‘s men’s underwear.
The singer frequently blurs gender lines, which led to rumors early in her career that she was actually a hermaphrodite. Gaga later joked about this rumor in the music video for her hit song ‘Telephone.’
