A heartbroken Jessie Wallace has fled to her honeymoon destination of Crete without her ex-fiancé Vince Morse, denying rumours the pair were due to meet on the Greek Island for reconciliation talks.
Wallace left five-year-old daughter Tullulah Lilac with relatives while she jetted off with a male companion. The actress, who plays Kat Moon, has asked ‘Eastenders’ executives for an extra three weeks of compassionate leave in addition to the two weeks planned for her honeymoon.
Last week the ‘Eastenders’ actress was forced to make the agonizing decision to cancel her wedding hours before she was due to walk down the aisle after it was revealed 50-year-old Morse had sent explicit pictures of the star to an ex-girlfriend.
A spokesperson confirmed the wedding had been cancelled, stating: “Jessie is not in a position to comment and we would really appreciate if Jessie could be given some space at this difficult time.”
The Mail on Sunday has since reported that Morse, who is a catering manger, has cheated on two former fiancés.
Wallace and Morse had a whirlwind romance following a blind date in December of last year. They announced their engagement in July, and the 39-year-old actress told OK!: “Vince is my Mr. Right…. I’ve never been this happy with a man before.”
