Last night Sierra Blanca, TX police detained rapper Nelly after a search found a large amount of heroin, marijuana, and a loaded gun on his tour bus.
Nelly and several others riding the tour bus were briefly detained, but shortly released there after when one of the passengers – Brian Keith Jones – claimed that all the possessions were his. Included were 36 smalls bags of heroin, around 10 pounds of marijuana, and a loaded pistol.
The heroin amounted to about 0.64 ounces, and there was enough marijuana to allegedly stuff a pillow case.
Fans may recognize the name of the Texas town as the same location where stars Fiona Apple, Snoop Dogg, and Armie Hammer were all briefly arrested after police found drugs on them.
Nelly has a scheduled tour stop in Texas next month for the Austin Fan Fest. He will appear alongside acts like Enrique Iglesias and Flo Rida Saturday, November 17.
