When you are nominated in the same category as leading lady Angelina Jolie, you know you’re on the rise. Emma Stone and Jolie were among nominees for Best Actress at the Golden Globes this past January and were both beat out by Annette Bening from ‘The Kids Are All Right’.
Stone, whose next movie, ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ opens July 29th, isn’t too shy about sharing the story of her tipsy star-struck mothers night.
During a segment on ‘Conan’ this Monday, Stone revealed that she and her mother, Krista, sat at a table next to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. She knew it was the ultimate event to bring her mom to, reason being, “Because she never drinks, and there was this giant bottle of Moet champagne… so she had a lot [to drink]. She was talking to them about their kids, which was really interesting and funny.”
Leaning over towards “Brangelina,” Krista spoke to Jolie about her kids and how exhausting it must be. Jolie kindly replied, “Yeah, you know, with all these kids…”
Krista followed up with every mother’s concerns about growing up so fast and time slipping by!
Stone didn’t seem too embarrassed by her mothers chatty mood, she instead laughed it off and thought it was actually pretty fun. Sounds like a great mother daughter duo we’ve got here!
Naturally a blonde, but we’ve come to know her as a fiery red-head, also graced the cover of the August issue of ‘Vanity Fair’. Stone, 22, is talented, down-to-earth, and is really making a name for herself.
