Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman tied the knot in California over the weekend.

The ‘Cat Woman’ star and her longtime beau wed in a sunset ceremony on a private estate in Big Sur, California.

The bride wore a custom Valentino gown and a wide, 1920’s-inspired headband attached to her veil.

The reception featured a vegan menu and more then $100,00 worth of flowers, with jazz trio Americano Social Club providing music for guests groove to.

150 friends and family members attended the wedding. Hathaway’s happiness with Shulman is especially sweet because the relationship came of the heels of heartbreak and scandal for the actress.

Her relationship with former boyfriend Raffaello Follieri ended after he was found guilty of defrauding investors of millions of dollars by posing as a real-estate consultant for the Vatican.

Hathaway appears be be looking forward to a quieter life with Shulman. “Mellow doesn’t always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life,” she said to US Weekly of her life with jewelry designer Shulman.

This is the first marriage for both Hathaway and Shulman.

Next up for Hathaway? Her film, ‘Les Miserables’ is set for a Christmas 2012 premiere. She is not due on another film set for a while, so hopefully she can take some time to relax and enjoy wedded bliss.
